Singing is a joyous thing to do at any age! With its rhythm and repetition, it’s also a way to supercharge early literacy development. Singing helps children to hear, identify and manipulate the individual sounds that make up spoken words - building a fabulous foundation for reading. Come hear the Woden Valley Youth Choir sing the Canberra Writers Festival’s Kids and YA Program open. And best of all you can join in the singing too!
