The Children’s Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Awards are the most influential and highly respected literary award for children in Australia. This year they are marking 80 years of celebrating and promoting quality literature for young Australians by Australians. This event, moderated by Sue Whiting, showcases Canberra’s shining stars of the 2026 awards including Sandy Bigna, Eleri Harris and Stephanie Owen Reeder.
